Plenary sessions (speakers, panels, open conversation)
Small-group work (field trips, workshops, strategy sessions)
Worship and music (built into every day with a final service on Sunday)
Who Should attend
Thursday and Friday sessions are designed for people in the United Methodist Church working on creation care/environmental justice at any level of the church.
Saturday sessions are designed for anyone from any faith tradition interested in learning more about engaging in this work.
Register through the Tennessee Annual Conference. You will set up an account on that site, and then be able to register for the event. Registration deadline is June 13. The Scarritt Bennett Center needs the final count by then, so we cannot accept registrations after that date. The first 35 who reserve three nights in a Scarritt Bennett dormitory receive a substantially reduced rate! (Room reservations must be made through the event registration site, not directly with Scarritt Bennett.) Please click on the Registration Information page for complete details on how to receive the special reduced rate.
A limited number of scholarships are available for those who need financial assistance to attend. Preference will be given to underrepresented demographic groups, including young adults, people of color, and those "on the front lines" of environmental crises. Priority deadline for scholarship applications is May 11. Applications will be accepted until June 7. Complete the scholarship application online.
